Sweep blast per SSPC SP-13 to prepare concrete for coating application.
Prep for ferrous metals – SSPC SP@ Hand Tool Clean & SSPC SP3 Power Tool Clean.
Prime concrete ceilings & block walls –Loxon Conditioner @200-300 sf/gal. Topcoat water based Tile Clad
Pre-primer for ferrous metals – Macropoxy 920 Preprime @ 1.5-2.0 mils DFT.
Primer for ferrous metals – Macropoxy 646 Fast Cure Epoxy @ 5-10 mils DFT
Topcoat for ferrous metals – Macropoxy 646 Fast Cure Epoxy @ 5-10 mils DFT
Wet Well Coating:
Stopping leaks – Infiltration leakage of all structures were stopped by use of DeNeef Construction Chemicals urethane grouts: Hydro Active Cut, Hydro Active MultiGel & Hydro Active Seal Foam chemical grouting compound.
Structural Lining – Designated structures received application of Cook Cements “CemTec Silatec CAM or Cook Cements CemTec Rapid Cure Vertical cement patching compound. Thickness to be sufficient to replace lost cross-section, fill voids and provide a minimum ¼” cover overall interior concrete and masonry surfaces.
Dry Well Corrosion Protection Coating – Designated structures received application of Sherwin-Williams chemical resistant epoxy Cor-Cote SC for corrosion protection @ 30-40 mils DFT.
Wet Well Corrosion Protection Flexible Lining – Designated structures received application of Sherwin-Williams SherFlex Elastomeric Polyurethane @ 80-125 mls. Surface coated with SherFlex shall be primed with 3.0-4.0 mls DFT of Dura-Plate 235 Multi-Purpose Epoxy.

Special items to note:
In addition to the project highlighted above, the City of Jacksonville doubled the original contract to include: Dry Well epoxy repairs, resurfacing, exterior painting and stair repairs at the Brynn Mar and Ellis Pump Stations, as well as concrete repairs and coating for the Collin Heights Wet Well. The value of the contracts topped $350,000.
