Background

Water was leaking from the influent sand filter flume into the pipe gallery.

Surface Preparation and Coating Application

Prep concrete per SSPC-SP13 “surface prep for concrete”
Repair interior of flume using CemTec Thin Coat Mortar @ ¼ “thick
Prime flume wall, floor, and ceiling using Sherwin-Williams Fast Top Primer (3-5 mils DFT)
Saw cut any termination joints where SherFlex will stop to lock the coating to the concrete and prevent delamination
Apply SherFlex Elastomeric Urethane 100-125 mils to floor and walls, and 60-80 mils to the ceiling
